Michael has been acting since age of six, however Stone Deaf is his first directing
gig! Michael starred in numerous of productions at The Learning Center for
the Deaf in Framingham, Massachusetts, CSUN Theater Department, and Deaf West including: Peter Pan, Tom Sawyer, Deaf President Now!, The Greeks, and The Taste
of the Sunrise. Michael aspires to become a schoolteacher for the deaf, as well as pursue
a career in acting and directing. He also dreams of establishing a drama program for deaf and hearing children who use ASL.

"Carpe Diem"

I've been living with my Domestic Partner, Harvey, in Irvine for the past ten years.
After befriending Noel, my Deaf friend, I began my study of ASL. Then, I discovered my "cause" in life, which is to help eliminate the ignorance and injustice surrounding the treatment of the deaf. Nothing gets me
more incensed than learning that someone let their infant, deaf from birth, grow up without language until receiving a cochlear implant at the age of 2.

I love long walks on the beach, classical
music and poetry.

I am an International student and will graduate this fall 2006. This performance will be part of my memory in my life. I want thank to my parents, family and frends to support me to study CSUN!

Photography, sign language and dance will always be a part of my life. Thanks to the encouragement and support of my husband and parents.

Because I'm a huge fan of plays/films as well as Deaf Studies, I am excited to be a part of this wonderful project. I tend to bounce between two identities: a hardworking single Mom of two wonderful kids and an advocate for anything Deaf (well, not so anything - Deaf Studies and the Deaf Community in general).

I have a compulsion to write in Hebrew because I grew up in Israel. Also I'm a swimming coah and competitive swimmer. Learning to be an interpreter for the deaf.

I grew up in a family where justice comes first,, or else. My parents weren't lying when they said, "life ain't no joke". But I am loving all that I am learning through ASL, a beautiful language, many unfortunately miss out on...

I always wanted to jump over the moon like Maureen did in Rent. Myself born and raised in Washington State and now here I am in California. Where its popular for Hollywood, beach, everything, I love Buffy the vampire slyer, charmed many different TV shows and movies. Who knows, someday I'll be a Hollywood star and yes I always want to meet famous people and that a goal in life before I die.

I always try to be open-minded to new obstacles and cultures that come my way. My priorites in life are family, education, laughing and food.

I'm an ambitious deaf studies student. After graduation I will be attending law school. With being the only one out in California from my family, Lambda Sigma Pi Fraternity has become "my family".

As I prepare to graduate CSUN and apply to the Deaf Studies graduate program at Bristol University in Bristol, England I realize now just how much I appreciate what my time here has done for me. Deaf people are very unique, and its up to us hearing people to learn about and respect that uniqueness.

Born and raised to a great Family that I would be lost without through challenging decisions. Exposure to sports lead to setting high standards and expecting only the best, at an individual level and as a team. Higher Education has given me knowledge that can never be taken away, and exposure to strong successful women who are inspirations to my success.

Born in Denver, CO, but I've lived most of my life in Lancaster, CA.

I love the outdoors and am always looking for a new adventure to pursue. Some of my favorite memories are snowboarding in Mammoth, white-water rafting in Idaho, Kayaking around Catalina Island, and snowmobiling in Alaska. I can't wait for my next adventure!

I really enjoy attending CSUN, I am learning so much about deaf culture. After I graduate my goal is to become a parent-child educator for persons with deaf children.

Unfortunately, it has been years since I have been involved in a theatre production. I am having so much fun combining my love for ASL and Deaf culture with my love for theatre, using it to tell our audience about deaf history. I believe in God, and after Him, the person I love most in the world is Ian Moore, my fiancé. I spend a lot of time reading science fiction, fantasy, and comic strips. I also like to knit.

I enjoy scrapbooking, playing the piano, shopping and hanging out with my family and friends.
